I served from January 12,1970 to Dec 12,1970 with A company 93rd.Engineers Dong Tam. The 9th. inf.Division had moved out except one batt. that moved up to Tan An. I had one of the most inportant jobs in the Batt. 6 days aweek i drove either 2 1/2 or 5 ton tractor trailer up to Long Bien for parts then down to the Airbase at Saigon US Airforce Base to pick up Red Balls then back to Dong Tam before night. Did a few things to my duce and a half and it would go 80-85 and i had to do some humping to get back before night fall, ambush alley was the last road to get back.
