C Company 69th engr was not in Dong Tam. C Company and D company 69th Engr were located on base camp between CanTho and Binh Thuey Air Base across form the LST landing port. Not a dong tam I arrived in country with the 69th in Sep of 68 and left in Aug of 69. I was C Company Commander during my 7th thru 11 month in coungry

Larry.I don't know quite what you are asking.Are you talking about a dead charlie that was hiding under a trac.If so I remember him.He was holding an ak47 and the reciever spring was stuck through his thigh.
