I was with C company 69th from the day that we landed with our equipment on an LST at Dong Tam from Vung Tau until just before the date that they packed it in to head for Can Tho Jul 67 - Jul 68. Have many pictures of my tour in Dong Tam to include Stars and Strip articals. Never any atrocities and how the hell are you going to do that in a base camp?

was in HHC 35th Bn 34th GP 20th BDE in all of 69 just south of 34th gp headquarters. We were the ones in tents. Still, I would not take for the experience. Lots of trips down QL4 through Bien Se Moi , Can Tho, and Phung Hep. Was in commo section and was radio relay between base and Soc Trang. Lots of PBR's(pabst blue ribbons)consumed. Great guys , have contacted a few within the past year. Pick & shovels made stuff happen!
