I ran into Richard Smith again today at Fort Leavenworth. He said he was going to the 1st Signal Brigade reunion in August of this year and had no idea the 52d has a reunion. Therefore, I strongly advised him to attend. He doesn't have a computer and no internet access. I told him I would stay in touch with him and will send the Old Man his address and phone number so he can be notified like the rest of us when the next reunion will take place. He also said he has names and numbers of quite a few ex Co A folks. Those of you that remember him and would like to talk to him, send me an email and I'll give you his number. I'm sure he would be glad to hear from you guys. He also said he went back to Nam and was with Co C at Cao Lahn for a while. This has to be one of the largest reunions we will ever have if everyone attends. I will offer a free round trip road trip from the Kansas City area to anyone that needs transportation, and I hope others do the same for former members in their area. This is the second time I've run into Richard and both times he was wearing a 1st Signal Brigade baseball cap and a jacket with the 1st Signal Brigade patch on the back. Those of you that are going to attend the next reunion, raise your hand. If you have some spare time, I'm sure Sharon and Stu could use some help this time. They already have my offer.
