It only took me 37 1/2 years to find this site.I worked as a tower monkey all over 52nd. Signal Bn. I think we maintained towers in at least a dozen bases. I re-built towers when they were knocked down and hung dishes and antennas on them so you guys in the comm centers could hook back up. I climbed a 90' spliced pole with gaffs one time. I had to install a whip antenna on the top. Anyone remember where that huge 90' spliced wooden pole was? Anyone remember TIGER in Cantho?
Thanks for having this site. I haven't communicated with anyone who even heard of Cantho in 37 1/2 years.
