I was with Co. A 52nd Sig Bn AUTOSEVOCOM GRP in the Cantho Army Airfield in Aug to Nov '69. I have a few pictures I'd like to share but don't know who to send to so they'll get posted. I had reservations for the reunion but surgery became a priority. I'd also be interested if anyone remembers an attack in late '69 by the cemetary. Two of us were up on the tower when my partner who to this day can't remember him, spotted VC sneaking up to the perimeter when we let go with the M60 and M14. Huey gunships showed up and yelled over their speaker for us to stop shooting so they could come in over them and push them back. I remember the ditch with sewer waste and the Huey's making the VC cross over and over. The Red tracers from the Huey's were bouceing back up into the air.That's how close to the ground they were and the Green tracers from the VC Shooting up were hitting the HUEY'S. At the same time we were still taking fire from the VC. I don't know how long it took me to realize that bullets were whizzing by my ears just missing me. There was a Sgt. Trevino NCOIC that was in charge of the AUTOSEVOCOM GRP.
