Sorry I overlooked your postings, but I was with you when we bought the ducks in the black market. I remember thinking that they would "imprint" and think GIs were there parents, but they never did. Just got huge in a short time. We kept em in a wire mesh cage right outside the barracks door. Remember our mamasans? I have pics of them. They were good workers and God knows, our guys sure made a mess of that barracks.
