Merrell,the article u posted about your uncle Clarence Benton is a very good and interesting article.Sorry he passed away.But knowing he was from the greatest generation (WWII)means a lot. I miss him and I never met him.Ive known a lot of WWII veterans My father,uncles,fellow workers. They are and always will be tops in my book.My father is still alive, he was with the 100th inf. Div.But when I hear or read about a WWII veteran passing away, it saddens me.They saved are way of life.
