This Tuesday 02/Feb marks 33 years since we lost both James Johnson and Forrest Bolin to a mortar atttack on the airfield.
Dan Sweeney, JJ, Bob Ronje, myself and a couple of other guys were standing on the top landing of the barracks looking at pictures of JJ's new daughter Tina and her mother.
Dan and I left to get some chow and I had just sat down when the first round that got JJ hit. I don't know about Forrest - I know that he lived downstairs but never really got to know him.
I know that Tina and Forrest's son Gary would like to read about the times we had with their dads. Both the good and the bad.
I kown that Stu (Old Man) Boaz has been doing a fantastic job of locating guys from the old Co.A 52nd Signal - hope to see a lot of you at the reunion in July.
Until then it would be great to hear from each and every one of you.
God bless and keep you all!
