Greetings. I am very happy to find your Cantho site. I was stationed at Cantho from Nov '67 to May '68 at the USAF communications site. My site was adjacent to the medical facility and the communications control center. We took several hits during Tet '68, mostly due to the fact that our site was directly under the 165' communications tower the enemy was trying to knock out. I have many pictures to share, which I will make available. I have my own picture of the dump truck pictured elsewhere in this site, as well as other damage done duing Tet '68. The USAF lost a lot of equipment, but fortunately, no personnel on my shift. I now have over 36 years of Active and Air National Guard duty, and Cantho will always be one of my proudest memories.
