I was with the 67th Engineer Company (DT) in '69-70. In 1969 our second platoon was located at Camp Viking which was mid-way between My Tho and Dong Tam along TL-25 (?). The front gate was along a canal and across from an ARVN base and the rear perimeter faced the Binh Duc Airfield. Camp Viking was the original home of the 86th Engineer Bn. and when the 1st and 2nd Bdes. of the 9th were withdrawn in Aug. '69, Viking was closed and we moved over to Dong Tam for better security. Anyone out there with any Camp Viking photos to share?
