I hear what your saying......there were some really beautiful Vietnamese girls both in the Can Tho area and up in Saigon when they occasionally let me take a transport up for a weekend with my buddies at OSI HQ on Tan Son Nhut AB.
You know........I do remember 1 girl in the Ben Xe Moi area that had really stunning eyes and from what I was told, a perfect, slender body. Unfortunately, I saw her with other GIs/US personnel, but I was never with her. Only saw her. But I can't remember where....maybe Olga's bar????
When were you there? I was there 69-70. Maybe we're talking about the same girl. Anyway....Thailand was really something...I must have gotten all of 8 hours sleep in 3 days. I had one buddy stationed there in downtown Bangkok who served with me in Washington, DC. A group of us left Washington DC at about the same time...a bunch to Vietnam, another group to Korea, and 1 guy shipped to Thailand. Anyway, he was my "3 day" party escort to every bar and prostitution establishment in Bangkok. It was quite a 3 day blitz! I came back to 'Nam dead tired, hungover, and with a form of VD called "non-specific uretheritis" which I had a hell of a time getting rid of. I was finally "clean" 3 weeks before I DEROS'd back to the states. I took over a month to get this out of my system and the USAF would not have left me out of country until I was cleared up.
Anyway, when were you in country? Where do you live now in the U.S.? I'm from Pittsburgh, PA.
