Lloyd, I was assigned to STRATCOM Support Det., 52nd Sig. I worked the night shift when this occured. I told my wife and very few others of that day. I was awakened aby the explosion. I thought we were taking incoming. I also can never forget watching the rescue people removing limbs with shoes & flight suit material still on. I also still see the Vietnamese woman being pulled from the wreckage, moaning. I have been trying to remember the month that this happened. My Dr. says this is part of what is causing my PTSD. I wish you peace and hope your mind frees you of this memory.
