Hello there, I havent checked this site for a long time as you can see. I am back in the states now for about three months and returning to VN in Jan 2004. The gates are still there 1 and 2. The old airfield is now a Zoo and the other half if like a small amusment park. The road cant be remembered like it was when we were in the army there. The metal runway is now used alot for penning in the animals. Cantho down town looks about the same except new roads and Hotels, restarants ect. I have moved to Saigon now but still go to Can tho alot. A new bridge is at Vinh Long now but still must cross on the ferry at Can tho. A new bridge will be completed there in about another year or so. Take care, JD Owens
