Did any of you reading messages on this forum ever come into contact with the Air Force and Army Intelligence/Criminal Investigations personnel operating out of "Hotel #3"/USO compound in Can Tho?
I was stationed in Can Tho with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations from Dec 69 to Oct 70; we later moved onto Binh Thuy AB for security reasons. I was the only uniformed personnel assigned to the OSI Detachment 5010 office. I worked with 4 or 5 USAF Special Agents. We worked on the 2nd Floor of the compound and lived on the 3rd Floor. A branch of Army Intelligence (CID?) was on the 1st floor. We dealt with the intelligence community in Can Tho, to include the "Phoenix" organization in Can Tho. The "Phoenix" organization was really the CIA. We also dealt with many other intelligence/military organizations in Can Tho.
Did any of you ever have any dealings with us? I might know you. Hope to hear from you.
