I have posted this before/elsewhere. I have agent orange related type II diabetes (diabetes millitus). Any of you who contracted type II diabetes after your Vietnam service are eligible for VA benefits (in the form of a monthly disability payment). Due to the high incident rate of Vietnam Vets with diabetes type II, which is also called adult onset diabetes, the connection with agent orange is PRESUMED by the VA. Do not overlook this benefit.
In my case the diabetes has also contributed to coronary artery disease that I now have. The monthly benefit check I get every month goes towards my 14 year old daughters college fund....she wants to go to Penn State after high school. Perhaps you can use this benefit for yourself or for someone who needs it.
Contact the VA for more information. Go for it. You served your country when others spit on the flag.
