As far as I can recall....the hill at Thien Bin was named something like Nui Ai. I think the one down at Ba Chuc was Nui Ba Den or something like that. I would have to look at a map of the area to be sure. Once again, its been 32 years.....
I think Harper was from Seattle, Vrooman was from New York, but I'm not sure where the others were from. I was trying to think about where Big Brown and Brody were from....and Headley. I also wish I had Harpers email address...but its on my salt water saturated dead as a doornail laptop that took a saltwater bath here in the marina. I will give you his email address if I can find it or the site I got it off of. I found a posting he made looking for members of the 69th Inf Det. It was a site similar to this. Haven't heard from him lately though..... I traded emails with him a couple of weeks ago.
My wife and I along with our two Toy Fox Terriers live on our sailboat down here in SW Florida near Port Charlotte.
I wish I could get my hands on an old roster of the unit. It would at least give a starting point.
