Dear Vietnam Veterans,
I am a Vietnamese refugee, came in to the US in 1990. I am surprised when searching books about Vietnam war era: No one tell us anything about what the US soldiers had done to help Vietnameses to protect our freedom, and more important, help us to build a better life. Million US soldiers sacrified their life or spent beautiful years for our freedom and our happiness. Most of you are our good friend. We wish everybody will know the good side of your presence in Vietnam. Please help us to collect your information related to the US help in Vietnam, especially in civil services: Build up schools, construct bridges and routes, give medical treatment, help orphans, give instructions on agriculture to increase agricultural product... Many things you had done and did not tell anyone before. You are possibly keeping precious evidences about the US help to south Vietnam. Please reveal all now. Everybody must know a different truth what they had known.
Thank you, Vietnam veterans. Your image are in our Vietnamese heart always.
Sincerely,
Hung Tran
