I'm sure most of us are sill out here. Personally I check the Delta Dragon Site several times a week. However, there is only so much that can be said about events in and around Can Tho during the war.
I recently sent a picture of Ed Kasnow to Bob Pratt. Ed Kasnow was killed on the Can Tho Airfield during the Tet Offensive of 1968. Bob Pratt was kind enough to post the picture on his web site.
I'll be returning to Can Tho, Vietnam during January 2001--just 2 months from now. If anyone has a request for a photograph of an area in Can Tho let me know. I'll try to take some pictures of interest. Keep in mind that the Vietnamese would not let me visit certain areas during my 1993 visit to Can Tho. I was not allowed inside the Mecong Hotel. I could not get on the Can Tho Airfield in 1993. I hope to visit the airfield this trip. It would be nice to get some current pictures from in and around what used to be Dempsey Compound.
