I rememeber this. I was an operating room tech with the 3rd Surg in Binh Thuy at the time . I remember about 8-10 guys coming in the emergency room.. We had heard about the accident and got prepared for it..apparently one of the guys who was on guard duty picked up the grenade on the perimeter and brought it to the EM club and it was dropped underneath a table..is that right?..anyway I do rememeber talking to one of the guysbefore we did the surgery, who was hit below the waist and had shrapnel in his private area..He was supposed to be going the next day and was celebrating in the EM club..Wow, can't believe that after all this time I find an e-mail with someone who was actually there
