I hope you guys can help me. I was Company Clerk with "D" Company, 69th Engineers at Can Tho Airfield from the time they arrived (Sept 67?) until my DEROS of 1 Jul 68. A Mohawk unit (danged if I can remember which one--at my age, the mind is the 3rd thing to go)had their maintenance hangar right next door to our Orderly Room. That was across the street from the POW camp, and REAL close to the POL dump--remember TET and the fuel running down the street?
Anyway, I am attempting to build a model of the OV-1's that were stationed there, and would really appreciate if someone who remembers can help me with the colors of the wheel wells, the speed break (in tbe aft end of the plane)wells, as well as the colors of the landing gear struts. It would be nice to know the color of the interior of the cockpit as well.
