I know this is a longshot, but is there anybody out there who was in Saigon on Christmas eve of 1964--the day the Brinks was car bombed. Me and another guy had just got in country and decided to sneak out of the transient hooch on Ton Son Nhut for a few beers. There was no Camp Alpha or Bravo at that time. We were in the San Francisco Bar, right across from the Brinks when, at precisely 6 P.M., the blast ripped the Brinks, the first direct attack on US troops by the VC. Were you there?
