Was this from Francis? You may be right since you were closer to the pilots in flight ops. The mechanics indicated there was a .38 caliber round in one of the jugs. The picture I have of the aircraft sitting in the revetment after it was slung back to Can Tho looks like it was tore up by rocket and mini gun fire but I guess it could have been grenade shrapnel too. I surprised they would have sent it back to the depot it was so torn up.
