John, When I was getting ready to leave Can Tho to go to Long Than North the 156th operations was moving into a bunker over at the Special Forces compound. I don't really remember too much anymore about what took place. I know when they tried to lock our weapons up it didn't last long. It wasn't really a smart idea. I was at Can Tho from March of 1968 until March of 1970. When I first got there our commcenter was in the officers hotel in Can Tho proper, then a short time after they moved to the quonset hut on the air field. They also moved the orderly room from one part of the air field to a location across the street from mission ops. Take care. Greg.
