Bigdogg pretty much remembers the night the way I do. I was an air traffic controller who was off duty. We grabbed our M-14's and gathered at the base of the control tower. There was a large telephone pole at the to control taxiing aircraft that we layed behind while the cobras did there work--later we did a sweep of airfield-an exciting night. word from above was newbees assisgned to guard duty while awaiting assignement went to sleep.
