Jim, I seem to remember your name, although there was only a two month overlap from when I got there and you left. I worked in the orderly room for a while because my clearance hadn't caught up with me. SP5 Gerry Blaugh was the company clerk and Sgt. Allen was First Sargeant. I think Maj Munson was CO then. Our comm center was down town in Can Tho in the officers hotel. I crossed trained as a teletype mechanic and relieved Barney Poole when he left. I worked with John Borroughs and for a while Norm Adams who were crypto mechs. My cube was on the bottom floor where it was hit with schrappnel right before I got there. I can't remember the guys name but he had a brand new refigerator destroyed. It's been so long I can't remember most of the names. I remember our barracks Sgt had a dog named Snoppy that he paid a lot of money to ship home. There was also a guy named Munson (not Major) who moved his bunk and locker out to the bunker alongside the barracks. I think he worked in the motor pool. Well I gotta go for now. I have to put another shelf in the linen closet for my wife. If we keep in touch maybe more will come back to us.
