Steve, I also have type II diabetes. I have been talking to a friend of mine who also served in Vietnam but not in Can Tho about this subject. He also has Type II. He is real active in the Vietnam Vet Orginization. He said all you have to do is take your DD form 214 and your med. records down to the VA. You can get a partial disability payments and get you medicines at a much discounted cost. I haven't done it yet, can't find my DD 214.
