About a week after I got to Can Tho Air Field I was assigned guard duty. The area I was assigned to guard was the flight line. My mouth was dry, My eyes were as big as a hoot owls and my knees were knocking. I was locked and loaded and fixed bayonet. As the PSP would cool down it would creek and pop. And I was seeing things behind every aircraft. In other words I was scared to death. If you had snook up behind me and said boo I would have blown a hole in you as big as Texas and ask questions later. Ahhh the good old days. LOLOL Bob Pratt HHC 13th CAB 4/67 - 4/68
