Yes I do remember the rain. I remember taking sandbags off of the side of the bumker putting them putting them on the floor to keep our feet dry. What a mess. The gard assembly tent roof looked like a big water baloon. Those nights I will never forget. I was with the 271 ASHC Chinook Company. Seems like I had gard the next day after I arrived. An I poured. Seems like yesterday!!
