From the pictures posted on your site, I believe that I might have lived in the same barracks that you guys lived in. Mine was the closet one to the street. The road out to the main gate came right up to a T in front of the barracks. If you went toward the main gate, the PX was on the left. They used to show movies every night on a plywood movie screen behind our barracks. At the front of the barracks was a corrugated tin latrine/shower in the area between our barracks and the next line of barracks to the north.
When walking into our comm center, the OIC's office was on the right, with a bathroom being the next room on the right. The teletype equipment was in a large room to the left, right inside the door.
Be interesting to hear what you guys remember about Can Tho. Jim
